 | Foremothers at The Silk MusuemForemothers is an exhibition of more than 15 artworks or "shrines", made by women living in Macclesfield and curated by local group Maccreate. The artworks are dedicated to one of each of the artists' female ancestors, honouring relationships with their heritage. Each shrine is a point of reflection for both the makers and the audience.
