Experience the Four Seasons

Spring (Coach Day Trips)

From March to June, the valley bursts into colour: towering magnolias, camellias, bluebells, rhododendrons and azaleas mirrored in the lakes. Look for foxes, badgers, deer and wallabies, plus kingfishers, herons and buzzards overhead.

Summer (Coach Day Trips)

Stroll shaded routes among rare Acers and 100 species of oak. Late-flowering rhododendrons perfume the air. Spot deer with young, wallabies, stoats and weasels, and listen for owlets while red kites circle high.

Autumn (Coach Day Trips)

A blaze of gold, crimson and copper sets the woodland and lakes aglow. Explore diverse conifers against peak colour and discover rare fungi from September to November.

Winter (Coach Day Trips)

From December to February, frosts and mist reveal dramatic views—a photographer’s dream. Enjoy tranquil trails and migrant birds feeding among winter berries for a quietly beautiful seasonal visit.
