MOUNT EPHRAIM GARDENS - A PERFECT DAY OUT FOR GROUPS Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, Mount Ephraim is a privately-owned family home surrounded by ten acres of enchanting Edwardian terraced gardens. With sweeping views and a unique blend of forrmal and informal planting, the gardens are a wonderful destination for group visits.

Groups can enjoy the West Wing Tea Room, serving homemade lunches, cakes, and indulgent afternoon teas – perfect for a leisurely stop during your visit.

Garden Tours
Tours around the gardens with the Head Gardener are available for group visits, lasting approximately 75 minutes.


Opening Times

The gardens are open 1st April – 30th September, every Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays, 11am – 4pm (last entry 3pm). Group visits are welcome outside of visiting hours/season on occasion.


A Timeless Experience
Lovingly restored since the 1950s, the gardens still reflect much of their original early 1900s design. A visit here feels like stepping back to more leisurely times – with the added charm of being part of a working family home and fruit farm.
