Chesterfield Museum has closed ahead of ambitious plans to refurbish and reimagine the Grade 2 listed Stephenson Memorial Hall, which is home to both the Museum and the Pomegranate Theatre. In order for the plans to go ahead, the museum collection housed on-site has been moved to safe storage elsewhere.
