The sun's shining, we're heading into a glorious weekend, and there's so much fun to be had! We'm steppin' into a bostin' season of events here at Black Country Living Museum this month, so why not join us for another incredible day out in the past?
Our canal will be alive with colour and stories this Bank Holiday weekend as we celebrate the legacy of our historic waterways at Home of Canals weekend. See a host of historic Joey and Tug Boats and learn their importance to the history of the Black Country, from Saturday 2 - Monday 4 May.
Later in the month, we're grooving on back to the 1960s with our far-out evening events. Wildly popular in 2025, we're bringing not one but two fantastic nights to you with a line-up of incredible acts, so get your glad rags ready for a night of totally fabulous fun!
At the end of the month, we'm encouraging you to roll up your sleeves and learn about the hard working spirit of us Black Country folk during our May half term activities. Experience the graft of growing up in the past, discover tales of toil and follow the family trail to see how working life has changed over time.
