Shoemakers Museum opens for its first Summer

Celebrating 200 years of Clarks shoes a new museum at the original location of the Quaker business that started in Street in Somerset.  Find out how a family brand became a global story.

A remarkable journey with over 100,000 objects to explore from fossils to factory machines covering 200 years of shoemaking history. The museum celebrates the creation of place and community with stories from the people who worked in the factories. Galleries also show the development of advertising, shoe design, and innovation. Shoemakers Museum opened to the public in September 2025 and the galleries, café and shop are open daily 10-5pm. You can find Shoemakers Museum at Clarks Village in Street, Somerset.
