Discover Fascinating Animal poo Facts this Easter

There is so much to discover at the Stratford Butterfly Farm this Easter from 4 – 19 April including plenty about animal poo! Visitors will be able to use new toilet facilities which have recently been refurbished at a cost of £37K. The toilets are decorated with a stunning mural resembling the rainforest flight area and were installed by ‘The Graphics House’ in Wellesbourne.  Read more

Mini Madness this Easter at British Motor Museum

‘Mini Madness’ returns to the British Motor Museum this Easter from 4 – 26 April with a host of Mini themed family activities. Visitors can join the Mini Factory costumed characters on a family tour, design and make a Mini, or explore the Museum with the Fix It Family Trail. On Thursday 9 & 16 April, visitors can also join the STEM ambassadors to take part in a Mini Egg Rover Challenge. Then, over the Easter Weekend from 10 - 13 April, children can enjoy a traditional Easter Egg hunt with a Mini twist!  Read more

Butterfly Farm Feels the Love

With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away and 2020 being a leap year, the Stratford Butterfly Farm offers the most romantic of places for women (and men!) thinking of popping the question. The tradition of women proposing on the leap day is thought to date back to 5th-century Ireland when St Bridget complained to St Patrick that women had to wait too long for suitors to propose. He then gave women a single day in a leap year to pop the question – the last day of the shortest month!  Read more
