	MJM to exhibit work by Chagall & Soutine An exhibition showcasing work by some of the most famous Jewish artists in history will be opening at Manchester Jewish Museum in June. The exhibition, Chagall, Soutine & the School of Paris will include original work by artists including Marc Chagall and Chaim Soutine. On loan from the Ben Uri Gallery, the exhibition opens in the same month as Tate Liverpool’s Chagall: Modern Master exhibition. Read more
	Lynn Chadwick: Evolution in Sculpture Although highly respected throughout his career, Lynn Chadwick (1914-2003), has not had a retrospective at a public gallery in Britain since his show at the Tate in 2004, the year after his death. This exhibition seeks to reaffirm Chadwick's status as a significant artist in post-war Britain. Visitors to the Attraction can enjoy a new and improved foyer and gift shop, touch-screen information points through the exhibition along with an enhanced visitor experience in the new exhibit, the ‘Virtual World of Beatrix Potter™. 	Groudle Glen Railway - New Engine Following thirty years of painstaking work and fundraising to restore the Victorian Groudle Glen Railway, the volunteers who continue to run and maintain the popular charity line have announced the next exciting stage in the railway’s restoration, the construction of a sister locomotive to their original steam engine Sea Lion of 1896. 	Uwe Wittwer: In The Middle Distance Abbot Hall Art Gallery’s first exhibition of 2013 showcases the dazzling images of Zurich-based artist Uwe Wittwer (b.1954). It is an exciting departure for Abbot Hall to be exhibiting the work of a Swiss painter whose brilliantly executed oils, watercolours and large-scale prints explore complex themes through the appropriation, transformation and distortion of European and British old master paintings and found photographic material sourced from the internet.
