The Lightbox gallery and museum in Woking is one of the most exciting cultural spaces in the South East. Three stunning galleries host a huge range of exhibitions, changing regularly. There is plenty to keep children occupied with hands-on activities and interactive displays in our free local history museum Woking’s Story.

In addition to the exhibitions and museum The Lightbox runs an extensive learning and activities programme for adults, families, children and young people. This includes activities for under 5s, drop-in family workshops, workshops for children, young people and adults, and special events like Family Fun Afternoons.

You can also enjoy a delicious coffee, cake or lunch in our canal-side Café or browse for a unique memento of your visit in our Gift Shop. The Lightbox also offers competitively priced venue hire and can accommodate all events from a corporate board meeting to a special birthday party or even a wedding ceremony.
