The college’s historic buildings and grounds are said to be the inspiration behind the creation of Sherlock Holmes, and Hound of the Baskervilles. Visitors will see the Great Hall, which is strikingly similar to the description of Baskerville Hall, and the desk on which Conan Doyle etched his name, as well as other papers and artefacts relating to his time at Stonyhurst. See how present day pupils live, work and play. Have the opportunity to see the chapels and historic rooms. View the Gardens. Grade II* listed, with a large ornamental pond. Visit the tea and gift shop located in the main building. An experience you will always remember.
