Power, pleasure and prestige. Nostell Priory and Parkland has been the home of the Winn family for more than 300 years.

The Georgian mansion was built to show off the family’s wealth, using the best that money could buy. Inside the house, we have the largest fully documented collection of Chippendale furniture in the world, made specially for Nostell. There are also paintings by Brueghel, Hogarth and Kaufmann as well as John Harrison (of Longitude fame) longcase clock and 18th-century dolls’-house.

Outside there are more than 121 hectares (300 acres) of garden and parkland, including lakeside walks. Note: coaches are met by a member of staff in the car park to organise ticketing and explain where everything is. Please keep your group on the coach until this process has been completed.
