SCARBOROUGH’S OPEN AIR THEATRE PRESENTS THE SUMMER’S BIGGEST SHOWS AT EUROPE’S LARGEST OPEN AIR THEATRE IN 2016.

11 acts have been announced, with a stage on the lake continuing to play host to some of the biggest names in the music industry.

The Open Air Theatre has 5,876 seats, and for some shows the lake is covered to give standing room close to the large stage.

2016 will welcome one of the UK’s finest tenors, Alfie Boe, joined by the York Military Wives for a special Armed Forces Day performance. Performing for Her Majesty the Queen in May Alfie Boe will then join us in Scarborough on the 25 June. Chart topping singer songwriter Will Young will be performing on the 30 June. Best known for his hits including Love Revolution, Leave Right Now, Jealousy and Light My Fire, this is going to be a performance not to be missed.

July 12 sees one of the most captivating and in demand live acts around headlining at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Crowned Best British Male at the 2016 BRIT Awards and nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best New Act, James Bay will be here performing massive hits such as Hold Back the River. We are very excited to announce legends WET WET WET will be playing on the 30 July – hotting up the summer with their incredible back catalogue.
