Situated only 10 minutes’ walk from the City Centre, with easy access to the main routes, Inverness Youth Hostel offers a range of facilities and a buzzing atmosphere. Popular with groups of all sizes, Inverness is one of Scotland’s top youth hostels and is a great base from which to explore the city-based attractions and surrounding area.

Reasons to stay
As capital of the Highlands, Inverness is a vibrant city with traditional music venues, bars, and cinemas. Visit Urquhart Castle, enjoy a cruise on world famous Loch Ness, or explore the Black Isle, Culloden and Fort George. There are great golf course and adventure sports as well as many interesting mountain bike routes. The Highland Wildlife Park is just a half hours’ drive away and Inverness is also awash with great marine and wildlife, with opportunities for dolphin-spotting.
